Visa Requirements for International Students at Kyushu University  

International students studying at Kyushu University should meet the following requirements for a student Japanese student visa: 

  • Must have a valid passport. 

  • Complete your visa application form from the Japanese embassy or consulate. 

  • Have a photograph taken within the last three months. 

  • Provide the original and photocopy of your Certificate of Eligibility (COE). 

  • Provide a certificate of admission from the school. 

  • Showcase  financial requirements, such as bank or income statements, or proof of a scholarship

  • Demonstrate a financial supporter, such as a parent, sibling, or spouse
