  • Transfer students who have completed the equivalent of the University of Iowa's Composition I and Composition II at a U.S. institution.

All applicants must sit for the on-campus English Placement Evaluation (EPE) except for the ones who meet the above-mentioned criteria. This exam has to be taken prior to course enrollment to further the application process. Anyone scoring a TOEFL iBT score of 100 or higher would be eligible for exemption.
