This initiative aims to provide students with a dedicated area to display their creative and academic projects. The space will be available for all students, regardless of their field of study, and will be equipped with state-of-the-art display technology. The exhibition area is expected to foster a collaborative environment, encouraging students to share ideas and gain feedback from peers and faculty. The project is scheduled to be completed by the end of the semester.

Speaker B:
True, but the benefits outweigh the drawbacks. Students from all disciplines can display their projects, which promotes interdisciplinary learning.

I suppose, but I'm also worried about the cost. Is it really necessary to invest in state-of-the-art technology?

Investing in technology is crucial. It ensures that students' work is presented professionally, which is important for their future careers.

Rater’s Comment:

The response earns a score of 1 due to significant language and content issues. Language errors include subject-verb agreement, as in "Speaker B also mention," and tense inconsistency, such as "They say it gives students." Article usage is incorrect in "how it will foster collaboration." Delivery is hindered by excessive filler words like "um," "like," and "you know," causing unnatural pauses and choppy speech. Content development is weak, with repeated phrases like "a good idea" and "important for their careers," and missing key points about fostering collaboration. The response lacks coherence and fails to fully address the task. To improve, the speaker should focus on reducing filler words, ensuring grammatical accuracy, and providing a more structured and detailed response.
