 F-1 Visa 

F-1 visa is required for full-time students at an accredited institution like Carnegie Mellon University to enter the United States

U.S. Visitor's Visa

Those citizens who are not in the  U.S. Visa Waiver Program (VWP) must have a U.S. visitor visa to travel to the United States for personal travel or conferences. 

Schengen Visa
