1. Gist-content
These questions require you to identify the listening passage's overall topic or main point. They deal with the general theme or the purpose of the conversation or lecture, which has nothing to do with specific details.
- Example of Gist-Content Question
Two friends, Emma and John, are experiencing the Northern Lights for the first time. Emma says, ‘This is even more beautiful than I imagined. The colors are so vibrant!’ John replies, ‘Yes, it's incredible. I never thought we'd get to see this in person.’
- Question: What is the main idea of the conversation?

5. Attitude Question
