How to Prepare for Monash Law School’s TOEFL 

If you haven’t completed six years of schooling in an English-speaking school then Monash Law School mandatorily requires you to take English Language Tests like TOEFL. 

Here are some ways to prepare for Monash Law School’s TOEFL requirement: 

Meet the English language proficiency language requirement. You may not be required to take the test if you meet the following criteria: 

  • You must have a formal college qualification in English that lasted at least two years of full-time study. This qualification should be completed within the last five years. 

  • An already-hoarded certificate of English language proficiency with a minimum C1 grade. 

Take an English Language Test: You can take the TOEFL test or IELTS to prove your English language proficiency. 

Visa Requirements for Monash Law School's International Students 

Process of Applying for Student Visa: 

For international students, if you want to study in Australia you’ll need to get a student visa for the period in which you will be studying in Australia. Here is the process for applying for a Student Visa: 

Step 1: The Department of Home Affairs (DHA) is responsible for issuing visas for entry to Australia.

Step 2: Once you have accepted an offer to study at Monash in Australia, you will need to apply for a visa. You may only enter the country to study if this visa is approved.

Step 3: Once you accept an offer to study at Monash and pay a deposit for the course, you will be issued a Confirmation of Enrollment (eCoE) from Monash. You will use this eCoE to apply for a visa.
